Testimonials

I just completed my reservation up there with some guys for a golf trip. I've been working with Anna Marie for the last week or so. I just wanted to tell you how amazing she is! It's very difficult to find somebody that's willing to go above and beyond. But she definitely did. I had to make some changes here and there but she was happy to do it with a great attitude! I just wanted to let you know what an asset you have working for you! Thank you so much!
Debby – November 2017

I would like to commend your reservations agent, Anna Marie, for the pleasant, professional manner in which she helped me and my family find just the right accommodation for our upcoming trip to Vail. Not knowing where to start, but wanting something special for our family and our good friends who will be flying in from Maryland, she asked just the right questions, made several good recommendations, and ultimately found just the right room (condo) for us. The location is perfect, the room is perfect, and the price is perfect as well. In this day and age, it was truly a pleasure to work with someone so responsive, knowledgeable, kind, pleasant, and helpful. Please thank her, once again, for me, and please give her my best regards.
John – April 2018

I recently had the pleasure of booking my reservation with Heather. She is absolutely amazing! I just wanted to let you all know how great she is and I really appreciate all she did for us! See you in July!
Stephanie – May 2018

Vail is located 8,200 feet at the base to 11,570 feet at the summit above sea level! That makes for world-class snow, but it also means that some visitors may experience flu-like symptoms triggered by high altitude. Prior to your arrival, be sure to hydrate your body by in taking fluids such as water, coconut water or other non-sugary beverages. Start with a fitted, breathable, non-cotton base layer, then build outward and top it off with a fleece that can be worn under a waterproof shell jacket. Also include extra warm non-cotton socks, waterproof mittens or gloves, hats or scarves, and generally a pair of water and windproof pants. For additional warmth and protection, a good set of goggles, and of course a helmet, are also highly recommended. If you are missing any of these items, don't worry, there are many great shops in Vail that sell all of these items.

Transportation FAQs

There are car rentals and shuttles at Denver International and Eagle County Airports. Because the trip from Denver is about 100 miles, taxis and other on-demand options aren’t usually available. Our destination experts can help you reserve Epic Mountain Express, our preferred shuttle service, that offers frequently scheduled departures from Denver International Airport as well as private SUVs and vans. We can also assist with rental cars provided by Hertz.
Since Vail and Lionshead Villages are car-free, pedestrian friendly and offer a free in-town shuttle, a car is not needed. Epic Mountain Express offers a variety of shuttles to pick you up at the airport and drop you off at your accommodation, so that you can focus on your vacation. In case you are looking for a car rental, our expert team can help as well! We partner with Hertz to ensure secure, reliable and affordable cars to you and your family all year long.

Winter: Beginning Thursday, Nov 23, 2018, there is free parking in the Vail Village parking structures for the first 1.5 hours and after 3pm until 3am. Daily rates vary based on length of time and max out at $50 per day.

Summer (non ski season): Parking during the day is free at either parking locations in Vail Village and Lionshead. There is no free overnight parking and parking rates at the town parking structures or in various condos and hotels start at $25 a day.

LODGING DEALS & PACKAGES FAQs

Overall, chances are that you will find better rates when booking a stay between Sunday through Thursday, when most people are in school or at work. This can change during popular times such as Christmas, New Year's, Martin Luther King Day, and President's Week.
To secure the best availability on lodging for your next vacation in Vail, we encourage you to finalize your reservation as early as July. As we get closer to the start of the season mid-November, rates tend to increase while the depth of options available tend to decrease. This is especially true for busy periods such as Christmas and New Year's dates.
EARLY SEASON - Celebrate early snow and be among the first on the mountain. With no waiting at the lift and a wide variety of available lodging options, early season is a savings jackpot.

HOLIDAYS - Get a head start on your holiday. This is the best time to enjoy Vail's festive holiday atmosphere while lodging rates are still heavily discounted.

MID-SEASON - We don't believe in mid-winter blues, only blue skies! Find some of our best snow conditions and get your choice of rooms.

SPRING SKIING - Everyone needs a Spring Break! Best of all, March is historically our snowiest month. Get the powder, and the deals, before the rest of the Spring Breakers.
