POWDER PLAYBOOK: HOLIDAY EDITION
The holiday season is here, and Vail Mountain is hard at work opening terrain for your ultimate holiday vacation. With the Back Bowls open and snow in the forecast, here is your Powder Playbook for the holiday season!
1. Last Minute Plans? No problem! It’s not too late to book amazing lodging, the ultimate ski school lesson or get the latest gear to demo. Visit vail.com to plan before your arrival. Or... simply walk into one of our Ticket Offices to talk to an expert on where to get the latest gear rental or how to book an amazing instructor.
We also recommend securing your lift tickets online, and don’t forget to use your Buddy or SWAF tickets if you have an Epic Pass!
2. Conditions: We have over 3,000 acres open – with more on the way! Conditions can change throughout the day, so we recommend starting on a fresh groomer while temperatures rise and snow surfaces soften up. Don’t hit the bumps too early – give them a chance to see some sunlight! And we have more snow in the forecast!

3. Make Dinner Reservations: We highly recommend making dinner reservations throughout the holiday period. Our villages have some incredible restaurants, and they book up. If you are staying at The Lodge at Vail or The Arrabelle, check in with one of our amazing concierge services and they can help.
We also recommend daytime dining at The 10th. You can make a reservation on Open Table, or you can try your luck at the lounge!
