During the winter, the options on Vail Mountain are expanded. Highlights include trying the world famous Two Elk Chili overlooking the Back Bowls, Wildwood BBQ at the top of Game Creek Bowl, and the 10th, the newest on mountain sit-down/boots-off/slippers-on lunch location. Nestled just below Eagle's Nest and just above the Game Creek chair lift, Game Creek Restaurant is a truly unique location where guests can enjoy a gourmet dinner and an exceptional dining experience while overlooking the beautiful Game Creek Bowl. Game Creek Restaurant offers delectable, five-star, distinctive American cuisine complimented by an award-winning wine list and superior service. This breathtaking European chalet-style restaurant is accessible only by snowcat in the winter and by hiking, horseback riding or taking a 4-wheel drive shuttle in the summer. Game Creek Restaurant is open for dinner only, Tuesday through Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday brunches in the summer.
