Coyote’s Escape - Coyote’s Escape is an easy to follow twisting path through the trees on the skier’s right of Simba in the Chair 26 area. It is accessed toward the top of Simba on the right. Follow the Coyote sculptures on top of logs along the trail.Coordinate Q5 on our trail map.
Magic Forest - Upper Magic Forest is accessed on the skier’s right side at the top of Minnie Ha Ha in the area below chair 15 on the Lionshead side of the mountain. Follow the Eagle sculptures on top of the logs on an easy to follow winding path through the trees. Upper magic forest has sweeping turns, rolls, and a few short steeper sections. Coordinate N6 on our trail map. Lower Magic Forest is accessed half way down on the skier’s left side of Practice Parkway in the Area below Chair 15 on the Lionshead side of the mountain. The low angle trail follows eagle sculptures on a path through the trees. Coordinate N6 on our trail map.
Sherwood Forest - Sherwood Forest is located on the skier’s right side of Practice Parkway in the area below Chair 15 on the Lionshead side of the mountain. Sherwood Forest has a ski through a-frame at the top and many paths through the trees down to Cub’s Way. You can follow fox sculptures on logs for reference points if you choose. Porcupine Alley - Porcupine Alley is located on the skier’s left side of Cub’s Way between the top of Chair 8 and Columbine. Porcupine alley has a ski through a-frame at the top and open tree skiing leading onto a road that takes you to Columbine. You can follow the porcupine sculptures on logs for reference points if you choose. Coordinate M6 on our trail map.
Chaos Canyon - Chaos Canyon is located off Lion’s way below Mid-Vail on the skier’s right side before the intersection with Avanti. Chaos Canyon has three paths. Ricochet has two low to the ground “fun box” park features. Thunder and Tornado feature banked turns and rolls that wind down to Gitalong Road. Coordinate K5 on our trail map.
Buckskin Glade - Buckskin glade is located towards the top of Ramshorn on the skier’s left in the Chair 4 area above Mid-Vail. Buckskin is a heavily treed adventure zone with steep sections through the trees. Choose your own way through this challenging area. Coordinate I3 on our trail map.
Bearclaw Glade - Bearclaw Glade is located on the skier’s right side of Boomer in the Chair 14 area below Two Elk. It has winding paths through the spruce and fir trees of the upper mountain. Coordinate C3 on our trail map.
Pony Express - Pony Express is located on the skier’s left side of Whippersnapper in the Golden Peak area. It starts with rolls through the trees and then after a large left banked turn enters an aspen glade and continues through a series of steep rolls before rejoining whippersnapper.
