Colorado Ski and Snowboard Museum
For over 40 years the Colorado Ski and Snowboard Museum has been dedicated to safeguarding the spirit and evolution of snow sports and their contribution to Colorado's history. Come enjoy interactive exhibits illustrating the history of Vail, skiing and snowboarding, and the 10th Mountain Division. The museum is open daily in the summer from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and is located in the upper level of the Vail Village parking structure. Bravo! Vail Music Festival
glorious sounds of orchestral and chamber music will once again fill the air of
the majestic Rocky Mountains this summer. Celebrating 29 years, Bravo brings
over 40 acclaimed soloists, ensembles, and four outstanding resident orchestras
– Academy of St Martin in the Fields, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, The
Philadelphia Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic.
Vail International Dance Festival
This year ushers in a new era for the Vail International Dance Festival. With new Artistic Director Damian Woetzel at the helm, the festival promises to bring the finest dance in the world to Vail. Featuring performances by tap genius Savion Glover, the critically acclaimed Pacific Northwest Ballet, the highly anticipated world-wide debut of Morpheses/The Wheeldon Company and the return of audience favorite showcases International Evenings of Dance and Ballroom’s Best, the festival is poised to be the biggest and best yet. Vail Jazz Festival
This event features the world's greatest jazz musicians in over twenty-four hours of music over Labor Day Weekend. Hosted at the Vail Cascade Resort and Spa, the Labor Day Weekend Party brings together the best jazz musicians in an intimate, cabaret-style setting for a blend of jazz music not found anywhere else!
Bud Light Hot Summer Nights Concert Series
Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. at the Ford Amphitheater in Vail. Come outdoors for the rockin' social event of the season with hot bands in a casual, up-beat setting. All for free! Presented by the Vail Valley Foundation.
Vail Summer Art Institute
The 2016 Vail Summer Art Institute brings together all summer art programs in the Vail Valley including full day workshops, half day classes, public art events and children's programs. This umbrella program is co-sponsored by the Vail Valley Art Guild (VVAG) and Colorado Mountain College. Other sponsors include Art on the Rockies, the Alpine Arts Center, the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens and Art in Public Places. Youth programs are offered by Alpine Arts Center.
