Holidaze

December 21, 2013

Vail Family Holidaze returns in December with festive activities, tree lighting and the New Year’s Eve Torchlight Ski Down and fireworks. 

Schedule

Vail's Tree Lighting
December 21, 2014; 5pm   
Silfer Plaza by the Covered Bridge
 
A short holiday stage program will include live entertainment, appearances by the Mayor of Vail and of course the lighting of Vail’s holiday tree by the Covered Bridge in Vail Village. Complimentary hot chocolate will be served as guests enjoy and ring in the holiday season.
 
Torchlight Parade & Fireworks
December 31, 2014; 6:15pm
Golden Peak                                                                                                                                                                                                            
A Vail tradition on New Year’s Eve is the torchlight parade and fireworks. Come watch skiers form a glowing train as they ski down Golden Peak illuminated with glow sticks. Viewing for this spectacle will take place at the base of Golden Peak. Fireworks will light up the sky directly after the parade.
