Gourmet on Gore returns to Vail Village for the seventh year over Labor Day weekend, Aug. 31 – Sept. 2, 2013. Gourmet on Gore’s main event - a multi-day, open-air food and wine tasting - takes place along Vail’s Gore Creek Drive and Bridge Street showcasing the Vail Valley’s premier culinary talent as well as wines, spirits and beers from around the world. Live music, delicious food and superb drinks all meet together on this unique weekend to create a delightful epicurean atmosphere in Vail Village. There is no cost for admission to Gourmet on Gore’s open-air tasting, and the event is open to the public. All cuisine and beverages are offered a-la-carte at very inviting and affordable prices.
Daily cooking classes, wine and spirits seminars and outdoor fitness elements are also being scheduled to fill out this weekend that is not to be missed. Additionally, the open-air food and wine tasting will include a live demonstration series featuring some of the valley’s top chefs, sommeliers and mixologists.
