The Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival celebrates its 26th Anniversary season this summer in Vail. Celebrated pianist Anne-Marie McDermott returns for a second term as artistic director, and once again the Festival boasts not one but three world-class resident orchestras: the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, The Philadelphia Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic.
Chamber concerts are held in the intimate Vail Mountain School, while large-scale concerts take place in Vail’s spectacular Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater, which accommodates guests in either the covered, pavilion seating or on the expansive grassy hillside, with its breathtaking view of the Rocky Mountains. Children 15 and under receive free lawn admission to all Bravo concerts at the Amphitheater. Pack a picnic, enjoy a bottle of wine and listen to the glorious sounds of classical music underneath the Colorado sky.
