Bravo! Vail: June 23 – August 6, 2016

WHERE MUSIC MOVES MOUNTAINS

Bravo! Vail inaugurates a new chapter this summer with two festival firsts. London's acclaimed Academy of St Martin in the Fields led by violinist Joshua Bell is both the first international ensemble and the first chamber orchestra to grace the Bravo! Vail stage. The Dallas Symphony OrchestraThe Philadelphia Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic all make eagerly-awaited returns, bringing inspiring masterworks, soulful jazz, and delightful pops programs to the spectacular majestic setting of the amphitheater. Plus, experience intimate chamber music concerts performed by world-renowned soloists in unique venues throughout the Valley. The popular wine and music series, Classically Uncorked presented by Grgich Hills Estate, returns August 2-4.

Orchestra concerts take place in Vail’s spectacular Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater, which accommodates guests in a covered pavilion or on the expansive grassy hillside with its breathtaking view of the Rocky Mountains. Tickets start at $28 for the lawn, and range from $44 - $150 in the pavilion. Children 3-12 receive $5 lawn admission to all Bravo! concerts at the Amphitheater. Pack a picnic and listen to the glorious sounds of classical music underneath the Colorado sky. Chamber Music Series and Classically Uncorked are presented in the intimate Donovan Pavilion in West Vail.
