Hailed as one of the Top 10 "Can't Miss" Classical Musical Festivals in the US --NPR, 5/1/14, Bravo! Vail is the only Festival in North America to host three world-renowned symphony orchestras in a single season. For six weeks every summer, internationally acclaimed soloists join the New York Philharmonic, The Philadelphia Orchestra, and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra featured in programs of the great classics, plus jazz and pops. Stellar chamber music artists, including members of all three resident orchestras, come together with musicians from our Young Professionals-in-Residence Program in an eclectic chamber music series. The popular and newly renamed wine and music series, Classically Uncorked presented by Pine Ridge Vineyards, returns August 4 – 6.
Orchestra concerts take place in Vail’s spectacular Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater, which accommodates guests in a covered pavilion or on the expansive grassy hillside with its breathtaking view of the Rocky Mountains. Tickets start at $29 for the lawn, and range from $39 - $150 in the pavilion. Children 3-12 receive $5 lawn admission to all Bravo! concerts at the Amphitheater. Pack a picnic and listen to the glorious sounds of classical music underneath the Colorado sky. Chamber Music Series and Classically Uncorked are presented in the intimate Donovan Pavilion in West Vail.
