Bravo! Vail: June 22 – August 5, 2017

WHERE MUSIC MOVES MOUNTAINS

30 years ago, Bravo! Vail opened its doors with three concerts and a vision to bring great music to Vail. Today, that vision has blossomed into a summer home to the world’s finest musicians and ensembles, with dozens of performances and education and community engagement programs for all ages.

The 2017 season is truly a once-in-a-lifetime celebration. Four of the greatest orchestras of our time—London’s Academy of St Martin in the Fields, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, The Philadelphia Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic—offer some of the most powerful and well-loved masterworks ever written. Two Music Directors lead their farewell concerts. Five commissioned works receive their premieres. Not to mention sensational pops shows, world renowned soloists, innovative chamber artistry, and delightful family programs, all in spectacular settings throughout the Vail Valley.

Orchestra concerts take place in Vail’s magnificent Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater, which accommodates guests in a covered pavilion or on the expansive grassy hillside with its breathtaking view of the Rocky Mountains. Tickets start at $28 for the lawn, and range from $44 - $150 in the pavilion. Children 3-12 receive $5 lawn admission to all Bravo! concerts at the Amphitheater. Pack a picnic and listen to the glorious sounds of classical music underneath the Colorado sky. Chamber Music Series and Classically Uncorked are presented in the intimate Donovan Pavilion in West Vail.
