Adventure Ridge


Located at the top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola, Adventure Ridge at Vail has fun activities for all ages at over 10,000 ft! Enjoy activities like climbing, disc golf, and tubing, or just take in the views while eating BBQ on Talon's Deck. Don't miss the world's best high altitude family happy hour, Friday Afternoon Club (FAC), live music, lawn games, and a great sunset view. 

To access Adventure Ridge via the Eagle Bahn Gondola, you must purchase a lift ticket. Tickets can be purchased as a package with certain activities (as indicated) or bought a la carte - click here for lift ticket information on purchasing lift tickets separately. If you are interested in taking advantage of multiple activities at Adventure Ridge, consider purchasing an Adventure Ridge Action Pass.

Adventure Ridge Action Pass: Choose any three activities from pony rides, miniature golf, climbing wall, rebound trampoline or disc golf for only $25.

Adventure Ridge Action Pass Plus: Choose any four activities from pony rides, miniature golf, climbing wall, rebound trampoline, disc golf, kids zipline or kids low ropes course for only $35. Limited to only two premium products, including kids zipline or kids low ropes course.

Feeling adventurous? Tickets are not required to hike up Berry Picker Trail from the base of Lionshead to Adventure Ridge - allow 2-3 hours.

Zipline

The four-line, 1,200-foot zipline tour is a new and unique way to see the mountain from an entirely different point of view. Grab the handles and hold on tight as you fly through the air at 10,350 ft!

Ropes Courses
Choose your own adventure with one of Vail Mountain’s High Ropes Challenge Courses! Put your navigation abilities to the test when you traverse through obstacles while high in the air. It’s a fun and challenging activity for the whole family. After your orientation through ground school, you have the option to choose between a 30 min on-course experience at our North course, or a 1 hour experience at our South course.

Ropes courses are inherently risky. Participants must have appropriate awareness, physical ability and dexterity. Exercise good judgment, act responsibly and obey all oral or written instructions. Vail is not responsible for articles lost during the Aerial Adventure Course experience.

Rebound Trampoline 

Catch some air at 10,350 ft. on a modified trampoline with a waist harness attached to bungee cords. $10 per session.

Climbing Wall

Put on a harness and scramble up a climbing wall located at 10,350 ft.! $10 per session.

Vail’s 45-minute Top of the Mountain Tour combines adventure with incredible summer views of Vail’s legendary Back Bowls, the Gore Range and Mount of the Holy Cross from high atop Vail Mountain in an open air vehicle. The 11-mile loop begins at Eagle’s Nest and continues beyond Patrol Headquarters to Two Elk before returning to the western end of the mountain.

Situated at the base of the Born Free Express Lift (#8) across from the Lionshead ticket office, Gore Creek Mini Golf is perfect for the whole family. The course provides putting fun for all ages on nine, par-three holes and each hole features an interpretive animal theme that spotlights local Vail Valley animal species and provides educational background and information.

Gore Creek Mini Golf will be open Fri - Sun 11am to 4pm, and costs $12 per person, per round. No lift ticket required!

The following features are accesible via the Lionshead Gondola - click here for lift ticket information. Feeling ambitious? You can also hike up Berry Picker Trail from the base of Lionshead to Adventure Ridge - allow 2-3 hours. 

Disc Golf
Tee up for this spectacular, self-guided 18-hole Disc Golf Course at the top of the mountain. Front nine is beginner/intermediate and the back nine is intermediate/advanced. Allow 1–2 hours per nine holes. $10 disc rental. 

Lawn Sports
Bag Toss, Horseshoes, Dino Dig, and a new Slack Line Park. Enjoy an afternoon of fun in the sand and sun with your friends. All lawn sports are free.

Vail Mountain Guided Hikes
Guided hikes on Vail Mountain are offered Wednesday to Saturday during summer operations. Private hikes are available Sunday to Tuesday and are customizable to your hiking preference! All guided hikes will meet at the Lionshead Ticket Office.

AM Tour leaves from Adventure Ridge Sales Pavillion at Eagles Nest with a Vail Mountain Hiking Guide.

If lunch is purchased, hikers will have boxed lunch waiting for them upon arrival to Wildwood.

Walking Mountains Discovery Center

3.  HOW TO ENTER.   There is one way to enter the Giveaways.  From time to time, Sponsor’s personnel will randomly distribute Giveaway tickets with instructions regarding where to go to hear the winning ticket information.  One entry per person, per Giveaway.  All entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and none will be acknowledged or returned.  By participating in the Giveaway, each entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to be bound by and accepts these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor (including, without limitation, decisions regarding eligibility of entries, the selection of winners and the awarding of prizes), which are final and binding in all respects.  No responsibility is assumed for lost or late entries.

4. EVENT SPONSOR.  The Giveaways are sponsored by The Vail Corporation and its affiliates with a location at 390 Interlocken Crescent, Broomfield, Colorado 80021.

6. DRAWING; ODDS OF WINNING.  A drawing of all Giveaway tickets will be held on the same day the Giveaway tickets are distributed.  Details are provided on the individual Giveaway promotional materials.  There will be one winner of each Giveaway, unless otherwise stated on the individual Giveaway promotional materials.  Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of entries received.  Winners of the Giveaways will be selected in a random drawing under the supervision of Sponsor’s personnel. Sponsor has sole and final decision over all matters related to the Giveaways. No cash or credit redemption, assignment, transfer or substitution of any prize or portion thereof is permitted; however, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the prize stated in the Giveaway promotional materials becomes unavailable for any reason. 

7. NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS. The method of notification of winners will vary based on the individual Giveaway.  Details are listed on the individual Giveaway promotional materials.  Winners may be required to sign a Prize Acceptance Affidavit prior to receiving a prize. Refusal to sign a Prize Acceptance Affidavit may render the winner ineligible for receipt of a prize.  If a winner is determined to ineligible to receive a prize, an alternate winner will be chosen from the remaining entries.     

8.  PUBLICITY.  By accepting a prize, where permitted by law, winner grants to Sponsor and to those acting pursuant to a grant of authority by Sponsor the unfettered right of publicity, including but not limited to the right to use and publish winner's name, portrait, picture, voice and likeness for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without additional consideration, worldwide and on the world wide web, without notification, review or approval. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds (i) to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaways or the individual Giveaway promotional materials; (ii) to be acting in violation of the Official Rules; or (iii) to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. 

9.  RELEASE; ASSUMPTION OF RISK.  In consideration for entering the Giveaway, each entrant agrees to ASSUME ALL RISKS associated with acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize, participation in any Giveaway-related activity, or participation in the Giveaway and agrees to hold harmless, release, defend and indemnify Vail Resorts, Inc., The Vail Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates, including but not limited to the subsidiaries that operate the Vail, Beaver Creek, Keystone, Breckenridge, Heavenly, Northstar, Kirkwood, Canyons, Mt. 10. ARBITRATION/CHOICE OF LAW. Except where prohibited, entrants agree that (i): any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Giveaway, or any prize awarded, or the determination of the winner shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by arbitration pursuant to the J.A.M.S.
