The Vail Adaptive Program also provides “Ski Buddies” to assist more experienced skiers with disabilities. This “Ski Buddy” can provide assistance with chair lift loading, equipment transportation and general orientation on the mountain. A “Ski Buddy” can also help with integration into children’s ski school classes, provided the child meets the Essential Eligibility Criteria for class lessons. Ski Buddies should not be utilized in place of a Ski and Snowboard School lesson or as a personal aid. There is a fee for this service and we require a minimum of 48 hours advanced notification if you are requesting ski buddy assistance.
Please contact the Adaptive Office for reservations and more information at (970) 754-3264 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
