Adaptive Ski PassVail Resorts offers a five-resort Adaptive Ski Pass to people with permanent disabilities at a significantly discounted price. Adaptive pass holders are also eligible to purchase discounted companion lift tickets. To qualify for an Adaptive Ski Pass an individual must be legally blind, deaf, or have a permanent physical or cognitive disability that requires the use of adaptive ski equipment or adaptive ski techniques to ski. This is the criterion and standard by which Vail Resorts evaluates eligibility. Having a disability or illness alone does not constitute approval for an adaptive ski pass. If you choose not to provide information about your disability, you may purchase any of our other pass products. Each application will be evaluated by the adaptive pass committee on a case-by-case basis.
For more information or to request an application please contact Lindsay Blanton at 970-754-3264 or email us at email@example.com.
Town of Vail Accessible parking is available in both the Lionshead and
Village public parking structures. The Lionshead parking structure offers the best access to the Eagle Bahn Gondola, which is located approximately 100 yards from the accessible parking spaces. The
Village parking structure offers access to the slopes via a free in town bus service that is equipped with lifts to transport guests to
Peak where the Riva Bahn Express and Gopher Hill Lift are located. The Town has also provided two accessible spots that are located on the top level of the Vail Village structure near the Transportation Center; these spots are available on a first come, first serve basis. Elevators service all levels of both parking structures.
Town of Vail parking rates will apply where applicable.
Additionally, there are two accessible spaces with lift access in Golden Peak and Lionshead. The Golden Peak spots are located on the east side of the main parking area in the Children's Center drop-off lot. This lot is designated as a drop-off only area for the Children's Center and does not offer public parking; therefore the two-space maximum will be strictly enforced. To access the Lionshead parking spots please call (970) 754-3264. These spots are available on a first come, first serve basis and you will need the appropriate placard displayed in your vehicle or on your license plates. Curbside equipment and guest drop off can be accomodated in both of these areas during regular ski area operating hours.
Please call the adaptive office at (970) 754-3264 for equipment and drop-off assistance.
