This is one of the premiere runs at Blue Sky Basin with views of the Ten Mile Range, Mount of the Holy Cross and Vail's legendary Back Bowls.
Swoop down into the Northwoods Bowl, onto these two black diamond runs. Catch them on a groomed day and see why they are favorites for all. Take in the view of the Gore range that sits to the northeast of Vail mountain.
At over 4 miles in length, Riva Ridge is the longest run on Vail Mountain and takes you from the very top of Vail Mountain at an elevation of 11,250 feet to the very bottom at 8,150 feet.
This run leads guest to the Back Bowls of Vail and is where some of the most impressive views of the Gore Range can be seen from. The Gore Range is located to the East of Vail.
