Vail’s Ski Patrol.
Dawn to dusk to dawn. Powder day or bluebird day. Not unlike the legendary 10th Mountain Division, Vail’s ski patrollers have volunteered to be your eyes and ears this season on Vail Mountain for the 2009/2010 ski season.
Vail’s Ski Patrol represents the heart of the best mountain in North America. They put themselves at risk to keep you safe first and foremost. Up at dawn, never down before dusk, they represent the heart yes, and also Vail’s soul.
For 2009/2010 we will enable you to talk to them right here and on Twitter, Facebook and RSS feeds. Each has a unique angle on Vail life, on the mountain and in the town and the valley. And this year they’ll begin sharing their unique knowledge, unique perspective, and wealth of hard earned experiences with the inside track on everything from powder stashes, best mountain aspects, even where good Après can be found.
We salute Vail Ski Patrol for their service, past present and future, for keeping us safe while we indulge in our great mountain, and for this season for sharing this all freely with us so generously.
