Coaster, Tubing & other Activities

Forest Flyer Mountain Coaster
Speed is your friend as you fly through the forest on a raised alpine coaster! the Forest Flyer™ winds its way 3,400 feet down the mountain, following the natural contours of the landscape through the forest.

For guests who do not meet the height requirement for the Forest Flyer™ a free ride along ticket will be provided for a companion 16 years or older to accompany them as the driver. Preview the Forest Flyer>

Activity Restrictions: Participants must be at least 54" tall to ride alone. For participants who are at least 3 years old and 38-54" tall, a free ride along ticket will be provided for a companion 16 years or older to accompany them as the driver. Max. weight 330lbs. Fully enclosed footwear is required for all activities.

Eagle's Nest Summer Tubing
Grab a tube, hop a lift, get a rush! Adventurers young and old will love taking thrilling runs down the 550 ft-long tubing hill. Music entertains you the whole way down, while the Adventure Bahn carpet ride will take you back to the top. Preview Summer Tubing>

Activity Restrictions: Participants must be at least 42" tall and at least 7 years old. Fully enclosed footwear is required for all activities.

Marmot Mini Tubing
Grab a tube and glide down the mountain on a thrilling, adrenaline-fueled ride. The multi-lane tubing hill features two runs, and easy-access surface lift gets you back up top fast.

Activity Restrictions: Participants must be at least 3 years old and weigh between 30 - 100lbs. Fully enclosed footwear is required for all activities.

Mountain Goat Climbing Tower
Harness your inner adventure while scrambling up to new heights! Explore the nooks and crannies of the 25-ft tall climbing wall while taking in the views of the surrounding mountain ranges, all while safety strapped in. The climbing wall is designed with beginner to advanced climbers in mind, so there is fun for all ages and abilities.

Activity Restrictions: Participants must be at least 3 years old and weigh between 45-250lbs. Harness must fit properly. Fully enclosed footwear is required for all activities.

Rebound Trampoline

Bungee Trampoline
Kids and adults can bounce, flip and soar skyward on this trampoline, all while safely harnessed to a series of bungee cords. 

Activity Restrictions: Participants must be at least 3 years old and weigh between 30-180lbs. Harness must fit properly.

Top of Mountain Tour

Mountain Top Tour

This Mountain Top Tour is an open-air adventure in a guided off-road vehicle with incredible views of Vail's legendary Back Bowls, the Gore Range and Mount of the Holy Cross. You will learn about Vail's ecosystem and geology from your personal tour guide. The loop begins at Eagle's Nest, winds up and around Vail mountain and loops back to Adventure Ridge. Guests need to be able to sit in their own seat and cannot have children on laps or in baby carriers. Call 970-SKI-VAIL (754-8245) to reserve.

Disc Golf
Tee up for this spectacular, self-guided 18-hole Disc Golf Course at the top of the mountain. Front nine is beginner/intermediate and the back nine is intermediate/advanced. Allow 1–2 hours per nine holes.

Friday Afternoon Club and Saturday Sundown Series 
Enjoy family friendly live music at Vail's party at the top of the mountain. Ride the Eagle Bahn Gondola from Lionshead to food, beverages, and live music starting at 4pm. Nature Discovery Center
Operated by Walking Mountains Science Center, explore an array of regional wildlife exhibits and speak with naturalists about the flora and fauna of Vail. The Nature Discovery Center is open daily, free of charge. Join us to experience the interactive exhibits inside, along with free daily Nature Walks and Interpretive Nature Talks that are led by certified interpretive guides.
