From breathtakingly beautiful scenic hiking trails, to miles of exhilarating downhill mountain biking, there is no better place to experience your next Rocky Mountain group adventure.

Epic Discovery
Located at the top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola, Epic Discovery has fun activities for “kids” of all ages at over 10,000 ft! Enjoy the alpine coaster, ziplines, canopy tour, ropes courses, rebound trampoline and on-mountain vehicle tour, or just take in the views while eating BBQ on Talon’s Deck. Don’t miss the world’s best high altitude family happy hour, Friday Afternoon Club (FAC), for live music, lawn games, and a great sunset view. Private buyouts or group reservations are available for groups.

Sculpted by the great Rocky Mountains, a number of championship golf courses are available during your stay, depending on where you are lodging. Guests at select properties are eligible to play the award winning Red Sky Golf Club, voted one of Golf Digest’s “Best 20 Golf Resorts”. Red Sky encompasses 700 acres of classic western landscape on two world-class courses designed by Tom Fazio and Greg Norman. Group tee times and tournaments are available.

Scenic Chairlift Rides
Take a scenic ride up to the top of Vail Mountain for lunch or other activities via the Eagle Bahn Gondola out of Lionshead or Gondola One in Vail Village. Let us transport you to a world of mountain peaks, wildflowers, Adventure Ridge family activities, outdoor barbecues, and more. Nature Hikes
Vail Mountain is a great place to enjoy a hike with trails beginning at the base areas and others starting from the top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola and Mid Vail. Don’t
forget to stop up top at Talon’s Deck at Eagle’s Nest or the Mid Vail BBQ for refreshments or lunch on the patio with amazing views of the 14,000 ft Mount of the Holy Cross and the Gore Range! Half day and full day public hikes are available by reservation and private hikes can be customized for your group. Trail maps are also available for self-guided hiking on Vail Mountain.

Mountain Biking
Vail is an amazing location for mountain biking. Miles of scenic trails are accessible on Vail via the Eagle Bahn and Gondola One – and the adventurous can always ride up the mountain. With plenty of trails for every type of bike rider, Vail Mountain offers up adventure, challenge, and enjoyment for families, first timers, experts, and everyone in between. Bike and helmet rentals are available at both areas.

Fly Fishing

Experience the great outdoors and try a hand at fishing in Colorado’s rivers and lakes. Professional guides can help improve technique or teach the basic skills of fishing to your group. Summer Events
Summer is full of exciting things to do in Vail. The Farmers Market held every Sunday on East Meadow Drive is a great way to check out some of the great food Vail has to offer as well as Colorado artisans and vendors. The Hot Summer Nights Concert Series is a weekly free concert series held at the Ford Amphitheater. Other annual events include Bravo!, Vail International Dance Festival, and Vail Jazz Festival. Ski & Snowboard School

Get the group’s exceptional Vail experience started off right with a private instructor. Our professional instructors can take up to six guests out on the mountain for a day of brushing up on fundamental skills, negotiating the bumps, or playing in the powder. Featuring top instructors in the industry, Vail Ski & Snowboard School leaves no one behind. Offerings include private and group instruction, specialized clinics, one-on-one coaching and other customized options.

First Tracks

Be the first to hit the slopes when untouched powder awaits you! Give your group access to the fresh snow on our Front Side plus an on-mountain breakfast. Your group will be the first to hit the mountain with three private lifts. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, you’ll be treated to a private breakfast on the mountain!

Adventure Ridge

Just because the sun goes down doesn’t mean the fun has to stop. Located atop Vail Mountain, Adventure Ridge hosts an amazing assortment of activity both during the day and night. Once the guests board the Eagle Bahn gondola there’s snow-tubing, snowmobiling for kids, ski biking, zipline, rebound trampoline and snowshoe tours awaiting them. Private buyouts or group reservations are available for groups.

Complimentary Mountain Tours

Complimentary mountain tours for intermediates and above are offered every morning at 10:30 am at Eagles Nest and Mid-Vail. Blue Sky Tours are offered at select times for strong intermediate and advanced skiers. For groups of 10 or more, advanced reservations are requested and easier to accommodate during the week. It’s a great way to spend the first day and learn about the mountain, the resort, and the history of the area.

Group Ski Races

A group favorite, our dual EpicMix Race course sits on a gently rolling blue run adjacent to the Avanti Express Lift (#2). The Black Forest Race Arena has its own surface lift to ensure quick access to racing at its best. Rent your group its own private race course for a fun activity on the slopes. Gold, silver, or bronze medals are awarded based on time, age, and gender. A race can easily be paired with a group lunch at the Black Forest Grill at the finish area.

Advance Lift Tickets
We will outline our lift ticket program and ensure you receive the special group rate when you have 20 or more skiers/snowboarders. We can assist in determining your needs, compile the order, and work with you to have them delivered to the hotel or registration area. Lift tickets are good at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Arapahoe Basin.  

Rates for group ski trips are available to groups of 20 or more billing on a master account, but please note:
    • Groups must be centrally coordinated and organized, and have a group leader who serves as the group's on-site coordinator.
    • One payment must be made by club/organization/ travel agency check or corporate credit card.
    • Vail Resorts Group Lift Ticket Policies & Procedures apply to all group ticket purchases.

Equipment Rentals
Ski and snowboard rentals are available at a variety of convenient, slopeside locations depending on where your group is staying. Plus, take advantage of ski rental delivery and customized group fittings.  Rentals of alpine skis, snowboards, snowshoes, kids rentals and helmets can be arranged through a professional team experienced with group rentals. Our knowledgeable staff will fit your guests with the latest equipment and we’ll even store it overnight for free.
