Vail Snow Daze: December 9 - 11, 2016

Vail Snow Daze, the largest early-season mountain bash in North America, returns December 9 - 11, 2016. Enjoy fresh tracks on the mountain and sponsor expo village by day and après parties and free live concerts by night.

All Vail Snow Daze concerts are free of charge and will be held at Solaris in the heart of Vail Village. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and shows start at 6:00 p.m. each night. The schedule of activities for Vail Snow Daze 2016 will also include the sponsor expo village and gear demos at the base of Gondola One, as well as après and after-dark parties in the Town of Vail.


Early-season savings are the best way to celebrate the start of winter. With savings up to 30 percent off lodging on stays between Opening Day on Nov. 18 through Dec. 18.


Is there a cost to attend any of the Vail Snow Daze concerts and events?
No, all Vail Snow Daze concerts are free to attend.

Where will the concerts and events take place?
All of the concerts and events will take place outdoors at Solaris in Vail Village, so attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately. All venues are standing room only.

Where do I park?
Parking is available in either the Vail Village or Lionshead parking structures on South Frontage Road. Street parking is not permitted until all public parking facilities are completely full.

Town of Vail and Eagle County offer extensive public transit systems. Please enjoy Vail Snow Daze responsibly and make your transportation plans ahead of time.

Is there handicap parking/access at the concert venues?
Yes, there will be a handicap section at Solaris, but due to the nature of the venue space is limited. Please contact our concert promoter with questions to info@gohighline.com. Upon entering from the east exit from the venue, you will be pointed in the right direction of the handicap section.

What am I allowed to bring into the concerts?
Please leave the following at home, as attendees will be denied entry should any attempt be made to bring them into event venues: large bags/backpacks, coolers, alcohol/drugs, bottles/glass containers, cans, dogs, chairs, weapons of any kind (including, but not limited to firearms and knives), laser pointers of any kind, signs attached to a stick or pole, recording devices, professional still cameras and video cameras.

Please note that event management retains the right to make the final decision on prohibited items. Furthermore, specific concert or event security policies may create additions to the list above. All guests entering the venues are subject to search by metal detecting wands and/or pat downs.

Additionally, all small bags and purses are subject to search at venue entrances. Attendees will see an increased security and police presence both inside and outside the concert venues.

What can I expect to find at the Vail Snow Daze Expo Village? The Expo Village will be open at the base of Gondola One from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Guests can expect to find numerous brand expos, organization information and product samples in this area from event sponsors.
