Pink Vail™, on April 2, 2016, is the world’s biggest ski day to conquer cancer. Live music, a costume contest, themed deck parties and the Celebration Ski Down bring thousands of fun-loving, pink participants together on Vail Mountain – all for a great cause. 100% of the proceeds stay in the community, benefiting patient care and survivorship programming at Shaw Regional Cancer Center a nonprofit cancer center located in the Vail Valley. All ages and abilities can participate, and skiing is not required. To get involved, you can register or donate at www.pinkvail.com. Once registered, ask friends and family to support your ski day.
In just three years, Pink Vail has raised over $1,000,000 to benefit the “Spirit of Survival” program, which provides ALL patients at Shaw Regional Cancer Center with free exercise training, emotional support, nutrition coaching, massages, alternative treatments, a nurse navigator, outdoor adventures and more. Help fund this valuable program by donating or participating in Pink Vail 2016.
