Tuesday, February 16 - Bud Light Fat Tuesday Street Party and Parade 3-7pm
The New Orleans-style celebrations continue in Vail Village with the legendary Bud Light Fat Tuesday Street Party, including Parade from 4-5pm.
The parade will travel from International Bridge to Seibert Circle and will conclude with the official crowning of the CarniVail King and Queeen, announcement of the Float Competition winner as well as a King Cake eating contest. New Orleans influenced jam-band Frogs Gone Fishin' will perform following the parade.

As part of Vail’s annual Mardi Gras celebration, the Fat Tuesday Float Competition gives groups and organizations the opportunity to participate in a fun, family-focused festival and a chance to win $1,000 in cold, hard ca$h! Float registration is free to the public and now available online at www.carnivail.net.
If your group is not interested or able to build a float but would like to be a part of the CarniVail festivities we’d love for you to walk in the parade and pass out beads, candy, organization collateral, etc.
Each float will receive a standard amount of throw beads. Please bring additional beads if you can. Floats should arrive no later than 2:00PM. Parking details will be provided separately.
Float Regulations
· No propellants or explosives
· Only registered floats & vehicles are allowed in motorcade
· Must provide a copy of driver's license and insurance card for driver and vehicle entered.
· No excessive distribution of items from the float. Beads and candy are okay but confetti and paper products may not be thrown onto town streets.
· No Alcohol is allowed on floats.
· All floats subject to day of inspection prior to parade start.
