Walk the red carpet, grab some popcorn and witness the history of Vail and its founding unfold at the premiere of Roger Cotton Brown’s 50th anniversary film at the Vail Marriot Resort & Spa on Friday, Dec. 14 at 5:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 9:30 p.m. Roger Cotton Brown created the first ever promotional film about Vail back in the early 60s and is largely credited with helping put the resort on the map, long before it was recognized as one of the country’s premier ski resorts. Experience Brown’s story of Vail as he takes a look back at the past 50 years and showcases how Vail came to be one of the most iconic ski resorts in history. The night’s event will feature opening remarks from Roger Cotton Brown himself among others.
