Music Director Alan Gilbert and Philharmonic concertmaster Glenn Dicterow lead us through Rimsky-Korsakov’s musical retelling of 1,001 Arabian Nights. Favorite pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet returns in Liszt’s Totentanz, based on the Gregorian chant Dies Irae, or “Day of Wrath.”
