Opening with Mozart's cherished Clarinet Quintet and closing with the profound and monumental Quartet for the End of Time, the evening takes the listener on a journey of contrasts between light and dark, and eventually to transcendence. Quartet for the End of Time is a work of haunting sounds and stunning silences.
