Meet at the Nature Discovery Center for a family friendly program full of engaging activities and fascinating information about night creatures at the ski area. Programs may include: Colorado Cats, Wily Weasels, Eyes on Owls, and Howling at the Moon. No reservations required.

All ages welcome.

Located in an all-seasons yurt atop Vail Mountain, the Discovery Center is a community-based partnership between Vail Resorts, the US Forest Service and Walking Mountains Science Center. WMSS naturalists provide daily nature hikes that explore Vail’s high alpine habitat and assist walk-in visitors with natural science learning. Winner of the 2004 Environmental Business Awardfrom the Colorado Alliance for Environmental Education.
